Bob Jelley Case Study

After 46 years of dedicated service, it is with mixed emotions that Oldcastle Precast announces the retirement of Bob Jolley, New Business Development Manager for the Rocky Mountain Region.
Jolley’s retirement will be effective July 14th.
Bob started his career in the precast industry at an early age. His father, M. Lloyd Jolly, along with Lloyd’s partners, started the Utah Concrete Pipe Company in 1946, (later the name was changed to AMCOR) and while still in high school (beginning at age 15) he cut weeds in the yard and watered pipe. He also helped in the pipe yard, sometimes lifting and stacking them by hand.
After college, Bob worked in many positions: He ran the Erickson manhole machine, worked as a dispatcher, inside sales, credit manager, manager of the corrugated steel pipe plant, and sales manager. In 1976 AMCOR was purchased by Oldcastle (CRH) which was their first purchase in the United States.

Bob is leaving a wonderful legacy of service and leadership.
“Bob is a friend to everyone he works with, and will be sorely missed. He is the definition of what it means to be a “people person”. We all wish him well, knowing that he will thoroughly enjoy his retirement with his wonderful family (and amazing grandchildren – hopefully sharing lots of ice cream), his friends, spending time in Star Valley, fishing, golfing and whatever else he and Sherry can dream up,” remarked Van Fuller, Rocky Mountain Regional General Manager for Oldcastle Precast.
His long career at Oldcastle Precast and in the precast concrete industry has had a big impact and left him with many colleagues who appreciate his

Despite the gross exaggeration of some of Bob’s dysfunctional traits, the film does an exceptional job conveying the reality of these disorders and the affects associated with them. Although some of the characteristics of these disorders are detected right away, once the relationship with his new therapist, Dr. Leo Marvin is established, they are heightened and beyond obvious.
