Bob; an ordinary guy who works at Walmart and as a principal of a middle school. He grew up in the small town Jefferson City, Missouri. Bob studied at the University of Pennsylvania, the top partying school in the US. He spent his collage life partying hardy all night, sleeping all day, and making only the classes that started later than 4 o’clock. UPenn isn’t that hard to get into just as long as you had a 3.5 GPA. Bob did and got in for educational leadership with no questions asked. Bob’s addiction with #TeamNoSleep and #PartyHardy became a regular caption on his Instagram feed. His grades dropped extremely and was going to get kicked out. He told his parents and persuaded them with one big fat lie; they paid the university DOUBLE to keep Bob in. He got his grades up to low Bs & Cs and barely finished out the year. Bob graduated and met his wife Sally. They got married and found a home to start a family in Luisavill, Florida. Sally died and so Bob just continued his life without her. Everyday Bob woke up, went and managed a school, and then went to his night job at Walmart. There is no reason for Bob to have this job, he just does. …show more content…

The guy in pink inspected Bob and finally just said “We are super heroes and London was one of us. Anyone who has the job he has automatically joins the team. No. Questions. Asked. “ “So I’m on the team..?” “Yes. We will get your outfit and everything later, but today you need to leave so we can get prepared for you.” Bob got up and left; just as they

Robert Wittenberg sat at the kitchen table in his lakeside condominium apartment, sorting through his mail which had accumulated over the last seven days while he was in Las Vegas. Aside from the standard bills that came every month, there was an assortment of junk mail which he culled from the pile and deposited in the wastepaper basket. He almost threw it away along with the rest of his junk mail,, but on closer examination, he decided that the letter didn't look like most junk mail that usually wound up in his mailbox, and he examined the envelope more closely. It was addressed to him and the proper Milwaukee City name and zip code but was missing the apartment number, which was neither here nor there since the letter got delivered anyway.…

The film I chose to critique was: "What About Bob?". This film is based on the relationship sustained between a psychiatrist (Dr. Leo Marlin) and his client (Bob Whaley). The main problem presented in this film is the lack of proper boundaries between the professional and the client. The problems escalate through the film as the patient continues to cross boundaries forcibly, and engaging in a multiple relationship with the psychiatrist. Initially the psychiatrist attempted to stop Bob; however, Bob suspiciousness led him to befriend Dr. Marvin’s family members.…

The line spanned street after street, it seemed. I waited for what felt like hours, watching the line ahead dwindle as the Barnes and Nobles workers funnelled us into the store, prodding the line up three flights until we reached that lone table, stacked high with bright orange books whose spines and covers read, in black matte letters, THE GLIMMER by RICHARD DUKE. Every year since I was seventeen, Richard Duke published a book. He was an amazing horror writer, his words so well crafted they might’ve been spun by fucking demons to make us fall in love and fear them.…
