Bob And Morgan Analysis

Many of the characters are very realistic but the one area where the characters are very impractical, and that’s the children. Bo and Morgan are way too relaxed for young kids who are learning that their world might be taken over by some otherworldly beings. The fact that the kids only cry once in the entire movie and it’s not even about the aliens is crazy. The adults in however are exactly as I would imagine them to act during an alien invasion in that they try to remain calm and rational but at the same time are fiercely protective over their families, and I totally understand why they act the way they do. I admire the kid ability to stay rational because if I was in the same situation I would be freaking out. I admire Graham for doing anything to protect and take care of his family. Morgan on the other hand was not likeable at all. “I wish you weren’t my dad”, “I hate you” and other things were among the terrible things he said to Graham when he was just trying to help. It understandable that Morgan was under duress during this but all Graham wanted to do was help while all Morgan was doing was being a brat. The cast were all good actors and portrayed the mood of each scene perfectly with their facial expressions and body language. All the actors were very convincing and …show more content…
The acting and directing was excellent but there are plenty of other movies that have all the good elements I’ve mentioned with an interesting and new plot. This hasn’t influenced my thinking whatsoever and hasn’t changed anything about my previous thoughts or beliefs. The only thing I learned from this is that I finally know what Mel Gibson looks like. I haven’t gained an any more understanding of people than I did before because it’s a completely fictional movie and no one can be sure how the world would react if aliens invaded. If this movies goal is to entertain its audience it did not accomplish its purpose at

The film "My Fair Lady" directed by George Cukor is an adaptation of the play "Pygmalion" by George Bernard Shaw. The movie is set in London in the early 1900s. Although the film has too many songs, I believe that it is overall very good and has great actors and actresses castes to play the rolls, and scenes that are an addition to the book that add a great new taste! The movie My Fair Lady starts with the main character, Eliza, as a poor girl selling flowers on an England street corner.…

Where as I normally end up arguing against why a film should be considered a horror film, this time I'm going other way and argue why Lightning Bug is a Horror film. As I stated in Horror, My Definition, a Horror film is a film that used dread and horror, while trying to evoke negative emotions. Lightning Bug does that for me, upon first viewing I wasn't that impressed and disregarded is horror elements. Instead focusing on how its a Coming of Age Drama. But after viewing the film never really settled and has passed through my mind on several occasions and when I reflect on the film it's dark and haunting undertones that remain.…

Is history accurate or inaccurate because of different historical giants? Morgan's central idea is that because a higher or bigger historian or literary figures says something different or something is wrong that they can change the history into how they think is was or should be. To put it differently, history is made and not changed upon the idea of a higher person who thinks they know what they are talking about. He gives examples of what other people think history should be like then claims of what it should actually be like according to him, for this reason his central idea is wrong. Robert Morgan claims are “Average citizens were responsible for westward expansion” and “history is not made up by just a few heroes and villains.”…

Also, in the book the man who Nick refers to as “Owl Eyes” who he sees at one of Gatsby’s parties. Science Movie Day Paper The movie in my opinion was a simple vision of the apocalypse or the world coming to an end as people today call it. It is a very realistic movie in some ways but most of the movies created today with similar story lines are. As I watched this movie I felt as if it kind of jumped into the climax of the story to early and didn’t give it enough time to build, but the reasoning behind that is to ensure the watcher understands that these events that may become reality can be sudden, but not exactly too sudden. Initially everyone has an opinion although, most opinions never match up you cannot determine how watching something like this movie is going to make people feel.…

I also feel like Roger Smith was too much of a businessman. He was laying off so many people that were dedicated to the company just to make a little bit more money. I believe he was the main reason for the crash of Flint, Michigan, since he was supporting the town for so many years and then decided to take away the factory. Overall, I felt like the film gave a good perspective of different sociological perspectives like social classes, deviance, and the conflict paradigm in a real world setting and opened people’s eyes to what really occurred in Flint,…

A story about luck, friendship, brotherhood, love, adventure and fate, Slumdog Millionaire is an excellent portrayal of Mark Twain’s famous quote: “Truth is stranger than fiction.” Though the movie is not completely based on a true story, some of the key plots are based on and were inspired from real life events, meaning that these things did and do happen to real people. The movie has marvelously captured human emotions as the protagonist rides up and down his life’s roller coaster. The movie takes place in Mumbai, India, in the year 2006.…
