Bo Knows Bo
Playing two professional sports, who has ever heard of that? Bo Jackson has not only done that, but excelled in both. He is one of the greatest players of all time. Racking up over 140 home runs (baseball-reference.com) and over 15 touchdowns (pro-football-reference.com), he ranks among the greatest of all time.
Vincent Edward Jackson also known as Bo Jackson, was born on November 30, 1962 in Bessemer, Alabama (biography.com). His mom was Florence and his dad was A.D. Adams. He had nine siblings, so as you can imagine he got his fair share of growing up at home (sports.jrank.org). He got married in 1987 to Linda Jackson. He received many awards including Mvp’s of the Sugar, Liberty and Cotton bowl’s. American League all Star, Mvp of the all star game, and baseball all region/district teams. Other awards are All American freshmen, heisman award, college player of the year, and rookie of the year. Some achievements are College hall of fame, player of the year, Jim Thorpe legacy medal, and making it to the pro bowl (thefamouspeople.com). Bo Jackson has been an actor, football player, baseball player, and businessman . Today he lives in Burr Ridge, Illinois (biography.com). He lives a healthy lifestyle (espn.com). Jackson describes football as a hobby and baseball as his passion (biography.com). He has written one book, “Bo knows Bo” (sports.jrank.org). He also runs a charity fund to help families that have been hit by tornadoes in Alabama. This is known as “Bo bikes Bama,” which he bikes across Alabama with his friends.
