Have you ever heard of Bo Jackson? Bo Jackson was a MLB player from 1986-1994 and a NFL player from 1986-1991. Bo Jackson was one of the two pro-sport players in the world. Bo Jackson had a lot of work ethic. Bo Jackson came to fame in the 1980’s as a multitalented athlete.
Childhood

Bo Jackson was born in Bessemer, Alabama, on November 30, 1962, and was given the name Vincent Edward Jackson. Bo Jackson was the eighth child out of ten. It was hard for his mom to support their family with the job as a housekeeper. Bo Jackson was a trouble maker when he was young. Bo would break windows, steal bikes and beat up other kids. When he was thirteen he got caught throwing rocks at pigs. He killed some of the pigs and the man that owned the pigs made him pay for the loss. He had different jobs to earn the $3,000. After Bo had killed the pigs the man told his mom to send him to reform school. Bo got sent to reform school and when he did he put his attention on sports. He had great work ethic so he passed his peers. When he was thirteen years old he played baseball with grown men. Bo Jackson was a trouble maker, but he overcame that.

He was the number one overall pick of the 1986 draft by the Buccaneers. During his NFL career he had one of the fastest forty yard dash times ever at 4.12 seconds. In 1987 Bo got drafted in the seventh round 183rd overall pick by the Raiders. When he was playing a game on January 13, 1991, he was playing in a playoff game against the Bengals and he got a severe hip injury. That injury was the end of Bo Jackson’s football career.
