Adrenaline, fun, determination, passion, and support may be just words to the average person, but to a “rider” it's the definition of a life style and a sport called Bicycle Motocross, better known as BMX. It's one of the “rawest,” most untouched forms of passion and freedom anyone who can experience it will love. First taking major traction (no pun intended) in the 70s (at least in the US) as bicycle racing and later into different forms like street, which is the form of BMX I will be focusing on, in this article. BMX allows people with a craving for adrenaline to have a sport that doesn't have any rules or instructions on how to play, unless they’re competing of course.

The bike is usually built up of the following; a frame, a headset, bottom bracket, cranks, pedals, sprocket, chain, stem, handlebars with grips, a seat and seatpost , forks and two wheels consisting of a tube, a tire, a rim, usually having 36 spokes and a hub in each. BMX is also a great cardio workout that will keep consistent riders in a great physical shape.
