On 04/25/17, at 6:09pm I Deputy Warden N. Christian was dispatched to 232 Eastmoor Blvd, on an injury-possible dangerous or vicious dog, owner known. Prior to arriving to the above location, Deputy Warden L. Adams went to 566 Wrexham Ave Apt A and spoke to victim Andrew Barley. Mr. Barley explained to Deputy Warden L. Adams that he was contracted to due repair work at the dog owner residence. He was invited inside by the mother-in- law of dog owner for lunch. As he was eating a dog name Henry jumped on him to get his food. Mr. Barley pushed Henry away from his food. As Mr. Barley was protecting his food, Henry bit Mr. Barley in the groin region. Mr. Barley reacted to the bit by “shoeing” the dog away, at which time Henry bite Mr. Barley on the right wrist. Mr. Barley completed a statement of facts in regards …show more content…
Mr.Batikov was not at home at the time of the incident, only his mother-in-law was. The mother-in-law explained that she make lunch for Mr. Barley and another contractor. Mr. Barley stated inside the house to eat his food and the other contractor want out back. She stated that she went upstairs as Mr.Barley stated the dining room. She noticed that Henry who was upstairs came down stairs. The mother-in-law stated that she didn’t witness the incident occurred but she responded after she heard Mr. Barley yell. I explained to Mr.Batikov that Mr. Barley has completed statement and will be persuing charges against him. I asked Mr.Batikov his dog was current on dog license and vaccinations. Mr. Batikov showed me proof of vaccinations but not of a current dog license. I asked to see the dog, Mr. Batikov complied. I asked for Mr. Batikov identification, he complied. I issued Mr. Batikov violations failure to license and failure to control a dangerous dog. Mr. Batikov was issued a 10 day quarantine and a dangerous dog designation. Dog name Henry was designated
