Without military sales, some of the ventures may need to fold, as their input may no longer be required. The product development team has the largest number of employees in the organization and is responsible for production of all equipment. The organization is responsible for hiring more than 100, 000 employees and of all the employees, a third of them are hired by the production development department. This is the basis and the essence of the organization as every product for sale and every contract starts with the product development team. Reduction of military procurement means that there will be less of the products to develop and a reduced need for employees, while other sub sections of the department will need to be closed down especially those dealing with the improvement of the F-35 fighter jet. Due to the complaints received, the remaking of the software to improve its efficiency may not be necessary, as these are products that the US military again may not purchase
