However, in 1796 Blue was living in Deptford, London, working as a chocolate maker and a labourer in ships in the River Thames. Later that year on the 4th October at Maidstone, Kent, Blue was convicted of stealing raw sugar and was sentenced to seven years’ transportation. His significant tombstone, in which indicates he is buried with his son Alfred claims he drowned and the body never found on October 4, 1882. However, he appears in the 1891 census! Could it be the tombstone should have 1892 instead? And then there is the other story about how he died — by being killed by a bear north of Parry Sound resulting in naming Killbear Park after the bear. (The naming of this park, from Killbear Point, is more likely named from the Objiwe Mukwa-Nayosh meaning 'Bear Kill '.…

In one hike you can get it all: redwood groves, wildflower-filled meadows, rocky outcroppings, cascading creeks and sweeping views. This is Sonoma County at its best, the Pomo Canyon Trail, a 4.5-mile stretch between a wooded campground and Shell Beach. Naturally, unless you bring two cars, enjoying the entire trail would cause you to rack up nine miles. If you start at the Pomo Canyon Campground, you might have to add another mile, as when I hiked it, the campground was closed, and I do not know if it is permanent or seasonal.…

If you want to avoid a catastrophic climate change within the future of your existence, then the conversion of natural gas to liquid gas is not the answer for the future that you want for the America of tomorrow. So far, LNG plants seem to be the energy source that will bring a solution to the global warming disasters that fossil fuels have caused to the ozone layer, but the process of liquefying natural gas to an energy source is an intensive process. Brownsville is a city where it gets most of its profits out of tourism and the beach. Building an LNG plant will slowly destroy the beach with contamination, thus, making tourist less attracted to Brownsville’s beaches. LNG plant business plan on building their plants along the Brownsville Ship…

Growing up my family would go to the local airshows, primarily the one in Naval Air Station Oceana. The blue angels were the stars of the show and they always pull off a stellar performance. From that point on I always looked to the skies for planes. They're are beautiful pieces of art and flying them would be my dream. With my Senior Naval Science Instructor being a retired Naval Flight Officer, I asked him a lot of questions and he has told me many stories about his time in the F-18.…
When I would go to Florida, there was this Manatee place that we would go to that saved Manatees. You could go onto this board walk and look into the ocean at the manatees and watch them swim, it was really cool. But one thing I really loved about it was that they named the manatees and if they were hurt they would nurse them back to health. It wasnt a big place, kinda small. There was a power plant right next to it and that worried a lot of people because of the manatees but the power plant was a solar power plant which was cool.…
First things first, we flew to Florida from Denver Colorado. When we arrived in Florida, a limo was waiting to take us from the airport to the hotel we were staying at. We went to dinner and our way back we stopped at a store where me and my brother, Race brought a giant blow up alligator. After we got it blown up we got to go to the pool at our hotel and try it out. While we were in the pool playing…
