Would you have the brain surgery, if it could improve your I.Q. Would you take the opportunity of a lifetime ? ¨Flowers for Algernon ¨ - by Danial Keys is a science fiction story about a guy named Chairle Gardon . Who ia a 37 years old man with an I.Q of 68 who took the chance with the brain surgery , you could say he was better after the surgery . He became a very smart guy ,and he was the world like it truly is.Charile Gordon should have the brain surgery because it helped him spell, feel emontions and, the world the why it turly is. After the A.I surgery Charlie could see the world better . at some point after the A.I surgery he found out the world and people are not what they seem to be . ¨ now i know what it means when they say ¨ to pull a charlie gordon i´m ashamed ¨ ( keyes 231 ) . Charlie now knows that when they made a foolish act they would say ¨ i pulled a Charlie gordon ¨ to make fun of him . Charlie was being naivete , he never knew it till now.
