Indiana is ranked seventh in the nation for adult obesity states, according to thestateofobesity.org. That means a lot of people don’t work out, matter of fact they barely move at all. Every day we sit in the car or bus on the way to work, we sit at a desk for most of our shift, and we do the same on the way back home until it’s time for bed.
A trio of students are working on changing this in the city Bloomington with group exercising. Indiana University’s Noah Garret, Josh Schulte, and Jordan Sloan do this with a chain of cardio exercises.
It all started with the three taking an exercise group instruction class last semester. Throughout the class they learned how to use music to create routines that could maximize the best results of a workout.
