Witnesses that were prisoners with him testify that the Commanders saw him as a threat. They are not sure if it was because of he was great soldier and resisted their brainwashing and urged others to do so, or if it was because he resisted their doctrine and stood up for his God so much. One fellow prisoner testifies that at one point a commander threatened to kill them all if they resisted their anti-american doctrine. Father Kapodamo resisted and called him a “dumb son of a *****”, in front of everyone. However when Father Kapodamer gave an Easter service on a blown up church inside the prison camp, the commanders were outraged. Father Kapaum couldn’t walk anymore when he became Ill and his bloodclot worsened. The camp commanders had him sent to the death house where he was starved and died. It amazes me how he gave up his life until death. He was a great American soldier who sacrificed himself for his soldiers and he was a man of faith that defied his prison
