A person submit to Blood and Crips by doing numerous amounts of things. Before a person actually become a member of one of those gangs, he is vulnerable until he have someone that can co sign him. After he proves his worth, he gets through the process by being physically beat, known as jumping in and then having to commit a crime.

Being a member of Bloods and Crips can lead to many psychological traps.

All people are not equally liable to the influence of Bloods and Crips. They are not because Crips was only started when a group of African American boys decided to join a Boy Scout group and was denied. The group was basically an all white group. After denial, they decided to start their own group. The Crips were not always the gang – bangers
