Director Mel Brooks released Blazing Saddles one of the top 10 funniest movies of all time. With many gags to keep the audience laughing, the downright neglect of political correctness of the film, and the deliberate anachronisms placed throughout the film.

A famous gag in the movie that is quite sophomoric. There is a scene where people are around a camp fire eating beans actors randomly start farting. This was one of the first movies to ever have a fart scene in it as a joke. There is also the over the top characters in the film.
