When controlling the Blattodea order the first and most simple prevention is to make sure there are no small gaps in the walls and do not leave a clutter which act as great hiding places. All the entries should be inspected thoroughly the key is keeping a sanitized environment. For example, empty soft drink bottles or an abundance of boxes that have not been disposed of is a great place for cockroaches to accumulate.
