Blanche's Case Summary

On Saturday, September 19, 2015, detective Blanche and I interviewed Carter at approximately 8:00am. Carter stated that the robber was a white male between the ages of 40-60 years old. Carter stated the robber entered the store at approximately 10:40pm and picked up some fruit pies. The robber came to the counter with the fruit pies and pulled out a gun. Carter stated he does not believe he did anything to upset the robber for him to shoot at him. Carter tried to escape from the store, but the robber shot him and he was not able to get past the front counter which was where Carter was found. Carter does not remember anything past this point. As of September 19, 2015, the investigation continued. On Friday, November 3, 1989, police officers interviewed the head bartender, Kriz, who stated Alcorn was in the bar earlier that evening and was drinking heavily and picked many fights. Kriz also stated that this type of behavior was unusual for Alcorn as he was normally a happy drinker. Kriz was forced to kick Alcorn out of the Lounge shortly before midnight due to his unusual behavior. Kriz was only able to identify one of the customers Alcorn was fighting with, a man who goes by the name DJ who has dragon tattoo on his neck and who is about 25-30 years old. Pope stated he was playing pool at the Blue Boy Lounge and did not see the beginning of the fight between Alcorn and Jones.
