We can’t be a nation known to be the land of the free if we don’t obey the amendments that were made by our founding fathers. Muslims weren’t the ones who started a war against the nation, it’s radical organizations that oppose the United States were the ones who started war against them and decided to call themselves Muslims. We should stand as a whole nation and look for the real enemies of this country and do not befriend the Islamic nation.

McCarthy 's thesis is that we must acknowledge how sharia law contradicts the US Constitution in order to have a positive immigration policy. McCarthy 's first point to support his argument is that in traditional Muslim-majority countries, there is no separation between "mosque and state". Second, he states that Sharia does not coincide with our Constitution on the basis of equality, religion, and freedom. Third, McCarthy states that America has no legal obligation to…

In the article, “The Republican Attack on Muslims,” by the Editorial Board, they mention that Ben Carson declared on “Meet the Press” that Muslims are unfit to run for president because a president’s faith should be “consistent with the Constitution (The Editorial Board 1).” The Constitution was built off Christian beliefs, and if we have a muslim president, Republicans believe that Muslims would try to make changes, and adjust America according to their religious beliefs. Carson also states that, “Muslims feel that their religion is very much a part of your public life and what you do as a public official, and that’s…

Since the attack of 11 September, this issue has often been one of the press and unleashed passionate and even hateful polemics. Some argue that terrorism is an aberration that has no relation to Islam as such; they are treated with blind people. Others believe that this religion is fundamentally violent; they are called Islamophobia. The two camps sometimes refer to this or that verse of the Koran, hoping by this means to demonstrate the barbarity of Islam or its tolerant nature.…

Likewise, what Barack Obama mentioned in his speech to convey his argument is what most of us could have agreed 100% because I believe that there is no religion who accepts the killing of innocent people. In addition, according to ABC News, Abdullah of Saudi Arabia used pathos to convey his argument when he said, “Muslims are not bloodthirsty people. Islam is a religion of peace that forbids the killing of the innocent. Islam also accepts the Prophets, whether those prophets are Mohammed, God's peace and blessing be upon Him, or Moses or the other prophets of the Books.” This shows that most Muslim people are just following their religion’s regulations, which refuses to allow killing people. When Donald Trump said Muslims are terrorists…
