Blake Griffin: A Case Study

Recently, the LA Clippers announced their star power forward, Blake Griffin, will be suspended 4 games without pay. This suspension is from his involvement in a scuffle with the Los Angeles assistant equipment manager Matias Testi in Toronto. Griffin will also be fined another game's pay for breaking his shooting hand.

Griffin will lose $859,442 out of his salary, but will donate it to a charity that helps disadvantaged youth in Los Angeles.

The incident happened at a Toronto restaurant, where Griffin followed Testi outside and hit him, breaking his hand in the process. Griffin was rehabbing from his torn quad he received back in December against the Lakers, and was expected to return back to action shortly, but will now have to miss another
