The bladder is a muscular pouch that holds urine. In the bladder, there is transitional epithelial tissue. This type of tissue has several layers and they can vary in appearance. It looks like a bunch of cubes squished together. The cells vary when they become more stretched. This also allows for contraction and expansion of the bladder. If the tissue did not perform these functions, then our bladder would rupture. The urine would then seep out into our body and cause a variety of problems. The bladder expands to allow more urine to come in. This is why you can hold off from going to the bathroom when your teacher will not let you go.
Policy:
You will be given a punch card per semester with five passes to use the restroom. This should only be used for emergencies. Just hand the punch card to your teacher, they will punch it, and you can use the restroom. Teachers understand emergencies arise. You should always try to go before and after every class. You have five minutes between each class, which is enough time to use the restroom.
