Blackout
The character I dislike the most in my book Blackout is Alec. I dislike him for many reasons some being he messes with people’s mind and he can get away with anything. Another reason is that he is the leader of a terrorist group and tries to bring carnage to America. The final reason is that Alec is one of those leaders that doesn’t care for anyone else but himself. The first reason I dislike him is because he screws up people brains. He implants memories that they didn’t have before in to their brain so they believe the false memories. He did it multiple times throughout the book one time being “The memory he was trying to place was a simple one that the officer had heard that the suspects were spotted 4 hours west” (page 57). “Alec was pouring information into the man’s mind” (page 59). This is one time that Alec was messing with others peoples brains and doesn’t care at all. Another time was when Alec was interrogating someone. “Here are the rules,” Alec said his voice suddenly filled with hatred “I’m going to ask you some questions. “If I like your answer you’ll be fine. If I don’t, you’ll get more of the same.” (page 115). You can see that Alec has no feeling for anyone except himself. This is because he was

“He continued flipping through and flipping through the list on his smartphone. He had potential targets researched all over the area good targets too. Railroads, mines, even a handful of power plants.” (page 56). This proves that he was willing to destroy anything that he could just for the fun of it. “Just tear the mountain to hell and protect yourself. When the soldiers are taken care of follow us.”(page 125). This another piece of evidence that shows how Alec doesn’t care about his country or the soldiers that have protected him and kept his freedom throughout his

All Married couples hit rough patches in their relationships and it is about whether or not they power through those rough patches that determines the longevity of those relationships. If the relationship crumbles after just one fight or one argument then it’s questionably whether this relationship was real from the very start. The character I chose to introduce to you is Ben because he is the main character in the book. In the book, Ben goes through many changes and faces many obstacles and situations. Ben moved to Edenboro, Massachusetts from Tucson, Arizona four months before the book takes place and doesn’t like it there, but he slowly begins to think of Edenboro as his home. He finds animals very interesting. Ben is also a kind and friendly person because it states on page 175 to 176 that Ben screams at Frankie to leave Ryan alone and goes to Ryan’s birthday party instead of working on his report since Agatha told him that he and Jenny were Ryan’s only friends.…

In the book A Child Called “it”, by Dave Pelzer, the person I like least in this book, other than the abusive Catherine is Dave's dad, Stephen. From the beginning it was very clear that Dave's rolemodel was his father, Stephen. Stephen was a hardworking fireman, who loved his family. In the beginning of Dave's abuse story, Catherine would not abuse him in front of his father, so the times that Stephen was home Dave would follow him around as protection. “ Whenever he went to the garage to work on a project, I followed him.…

American Psycho, Election 2016, and the Entropy of the American Dream The ‘80’s described in the book were a time of excess, immorality, and sloth. They were also significantly a time when the American Dream, as originally described was one of hard work and charismatic patriotism, changed to one of excess and moral competition. In this, the human persona became more animalistic; so begins this discourse with a genius line from the main character of American Psycho, Patrick Bateman, “There wasn't a clear, identifiable emotion within me, except for greed and, possibly, total disgust. I had all the characteristics of a human being -- flesh, blood, skin, hair -- but my depersonalisation was so intense, had gone so deep, that the normal ability…
