Napi (commonly known as Old Man) is the culture hero of the Blackfeet Tribe. He was a trickster, troublemaker, and a foolish human being, but he is also portrayed as being the person responsible for shaping and creating the Blackfeet Tribe. Napi taught the knowledge of the Blackfeet Tribe as well as how to live. Napi got help from his wife (Old Women) to do this task and to create the tribe.
