Blackfish shows the actions that SeaWorld took after the killings. They interview some of the “former” trainers at SeaWorld to get their take on what is going on inside of SeaWorld, and how they felt about their jobs there. They talk about their personal connections with the whales. Their opinions are given throughout the movie. They say whether or not SeaWorld betrayed this women after her death. Was it the whales fault? Was is her fault? What really happened at SeaWorld that day? What has been happening throughout time, with all of these attacks by whales? Blackfish is full opinions on the captivity of animals. They state that captivity of these killer whales is what is causing these viscous attacks to the whale’s trainer. Most of the former trainer felt very strongly about what was being kept from them, and what they weren’t told when beginning this job. Most of them just being cats, dogs, or fish. We don’t go off and get grizzly bears, then try to train them. We all know that’s very dangerous. Who says that SeaWorld gets the right to go off and kidnap these whales from their homes in the ocean and try to train them to be little show dog’s. They are huge animals, of course everyone that come into contact with these whales are in danger. These whales are shown to hurt people while they live in captivity. No whales are shown to have hurt anyone while they are in the wild. What honestly makes sense about putting whales in large bath tubs with very little contact with other whales? Would it drive you crazy to be locked in a room, with only seeing a certain amount of people a day, while those same people ask you to constantly do tricks and jumps? I would personally go insane.
