The wage gap between men and women are significantly different but is really affecting women of color. Men have denser, stronger bones, tendons, and ligaments(Battle of the Sexes Par 2). As the body of a young female begins to develop breasts and weight gain uncontrollably. Women are held back but the natural things they cannot change. Teenage girls have a higher risk of anterior cruciate ligament injury(Effects of Puberty on sports Performance Prevent ACL Injuries Par 2 ). When boys and girls go through puberty their muscles are used differently. Boy have a burst of testosterone which results in larger, stronger muscles to control their new bodies that girls don’t get. Women should not be paid solely on the fact that they are female. A man who can no longer support the family financially the women now becomes the source of income and there is now a cut on some of the things a family enjoys.
