Chira stood there, contemplating what to do. She then burst out of the house realizing what a horrible thing she had just done. She told her neighbors, and her friends; she told everyone in her path and she asked them for help. By the time that she had returned home with help, the hour had been up. All the sand sat in the bottom of the delicate glass, beautifully shimmering red. She was standing there crying while they tried to see if he was still alive.
The days that followed were dark and mournful. Chira had successfully gotten the attention that she had wanted, although she felt guilty. Her neighbors had been constantly stopping by and making sure that she was doing alright. They often offered to help her with cleaning or baking. She always thanked them and denied their help because of the horrible thing that she had done, although none of them knew the truth.
One day, Chira went out to a pomegranate tree in the woods behind her house. She planned to pick some fresh fruit for her bakery. While she picked, a light began to appear in the distance. It kept growing and growing until it was the size of a human. Then suddenly, the light changed form and became a god. As the god walked closer, Chira realized that it was Persephone.
“ Hello, Chira,” Persephone said

Evicted, a New York Times Bestseller book written by Matthew Desmond, captured many faces of a culturally diverse population. Many parallel stories were narrated, yet each was unique and contained tremendous consequences as well as the depth of its kind. These allowed the author to develop a stronger connection with the readers as they progressed and psychologically experienced the multistage of sensations: from being awfully rejected to being openly loved, or from being wrongfully evicted to being warmly welcomed into a house. Multiple characters with distinct and rich background stories created a colorful book…

The theme for my storyboard for the book Seedfolks by Paul Fleischman was about helping out in the community that you are in. I picked this theme because in Seedfolks all of the characters put in effort to help make the garden a better place. All of the characters had something against someone but they get involved in the garden because the either notice how the garden community were kind and helpful or they were forced to go by someone who thinks the garden will help their problems. The Character Sae Young is the main character in my storyboard. Sae Young worked in a laundromat, but one day at work a man came in with a gun under his coat and beat up Sae Young and she passed out because he kicked her really hard.…
