This movement has helped bring attention to the fact that racism is still a huge problem in society. For example, some may argue that we live in a post-racial society because slavery is no longer a problem, but this isn’t true because inequality among black people is still seen every day. From bias against black job applicants to police brutality involving unarmed black males, it is crystal clear that we are still struggling to move forward and see past the color of people’s skin. Although this movement is yet to make a noticeable difference in society, its activists have heightened the awareness of racism in America and are on their way to ending the injustices associated with it. While some say that this movement is causing society to regress because it hasn’t made a huge impact on society yet, it is important for them to take into account that the movement is incapable of removing racism overnight and that they are doing all that they can to deal with this problem that is bigger than themselves. This movement is on its way to making a big difference, so it’s important for us to stick with them and support them on their journey to eliminating the injustices associated with
