In Colorado, we are able to witness an experiment happen in our very own state. We are witnesses to marijuana being legalized for recreational use for the first time. A black market drug used for so long as a medication, is being put on the market for fun. Marijuana has impacted the United States significantly. Before our new found freedom of this drug was brought to light you couldn’t carry any marijuana on you without taking a one way trip to jail. Now anyone over the age of 21 can carry up to an ounce of marijuana and it is legal.
