While the Black Lives Matter movement is a start in the right direction for African Americans, much more has to be done within the group to change the way they are viewed and treated in America. African Americans are to have goals that are reasonable to all in the race and not just be based on “black culture.” The idea would be to assuage poverty, mitigate “anti-black racism,” and develop scholastic and educational impartiality for the entire race while relieving the oppression that they have been crumbled under the weight of for centuries.
