Black Holes Informative Essay

One of the most strange and interesting things in my opinion is called a black hole. The most interesting thing about them is that they can completely make something disappear but the item keeps it's original mass. That is why I will be writing about black holes in this paper.
People have been studying black holes for a long time. In 1915 Albert Einstein published his theory on black holes. But the same year Karl Schwarzschild proved that theory correct. And people have performed more and more experiments to enhance our understanding of black holes.
In 2015 a star 25x the size of our sun was supposed to explode into a huge supernova but it got crushed under it's own weight and became a new black hole and that is the only black hole we have seen form in record. Our universe would be really different if we didn't have black holes so i'm going to tell you about how the universe would be different. The first way that the universe would be different is that the stars would be so much different because they wouldn't be close enough to be called a

First, there is a big chance that earth could not have been created. Because the nebulas just wouldn't be in the same place because it would not be able to get pulled closer by the black hole. So it we wouldn't have the right stuff to make our earth. Another reason people care is that there would be way less stars and way more nebulas because black holes compact the nebula so it is easier for the star to form. The third reason people care is that even with our advanced telescopes today we would not be able to see close to as many stars. Because the biggest black holes are called “supermassive” and it has been proven to be inside of every big black hole and that means that all the stars and nebulas get pulled close enough to be called universes. How they can do that is they have the mass of more than 1 million

The black hole paradox is an observational phenomenon that results from the combination of quantum mechanics and general relativity which suggests that physical information could permanently disappear in a black hole, allowing many physical states to devolve into the same state. Albert Einstein first predicted black holes in 1916 with the theory of relativity. The term “black hole” was coined in 1967 by John Wheeler and the first black hole was discovered in 1971. There are 3 types of black holes which are stellar black holes, supermassive black holes, and intermediate black holes. Black holes are some of the strangest and most fascinating objects found in outer space.…

I recently finished reading a published compilation of essays that you have written called “Death by Black Hole.” Before I read this book, I understood how big the universe was and how dangerous it was to an extent, but after reading this book my horizons have been broadened and I look at things differently than before. After reading your book, I was intrigued by your works and wanted to learn more about the universe. I then proceeded to watch all of the episodes of “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey” so I could soak up as much information as possible. Your essays paired with “Cosmos” has changed my worldview entirely.…

This episode of Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey, Neil deGrasse states that “this adventure is made possible by generations of searches strictly adhering to a simple set of rules: test ideas by experiment and observation, build on those ideas that pass the test, reject the ones that fail, follow the evidence and see where it leads, and question everything. “ The universe is 13.8 billion years old. Earth’s closest neighbor is the moon, it has no sky, no ocean, or life. Mars has as much land as Earth itself. Jupiter is like it’s own solar system it has more mass than all the other planets combined.…

Astronomy is an ongoing process. It is always changing and improving as we discover new stellar objects and use more advanced technology. For example, people once believed that the Earth was flat, and the sun and other planets orbited around us. As we advanced in technology, we proved both of these ideas to be false. Even today there is still work to be done, ideas and theories to confirm and disprove, and plenty of other things to explore.…

The Final Frontier Why is space called the final frontier? The reason why space should be called the final frontier is because past space there is nothing left to explore. I believe that space is the final frontier. Three main points that help with this are Galaxies what they are their shapes and what lies within them. Lifeforms off of earth what’s out there and are they friendly.…

A first generation star would be made of mostly lighter materials rather than planets formed later. Since the Universe was originally made up of light elements (Hydrogen and Helium), the planets that would've been formed then would probably be mostly gas giants or planets that lack heavier elements or metals. The planets that are in the process of forming today are most likely going to be made of more heavy elements, since the dust in the nebulae have had time to condense and form heavier atoms and molecules. Also, since there are currently more stars and celestial bodies in the universe, there is more of a chance that the nebula that is forming the planets will be affected by neighboring bodies, which would interfere with the formation of…

Nasa’s spitzer and Hubble space telescopes have discovered a massive galaxy creating more and more new stars. The way that this massive cluster has been formed so quickly is by feeding off gases from other galaxies. Tracy Webb of McGill University explained that usually a star in the center of a galaxy is old and dead, but this new cluster within this rare galaxy is creating new stars very quickly by merging with other smaller galaxies. Clusters are families of galaxies bound together by the ties of gravity. This new cluster being studied is referred to as SpARCS 1049+56.…
