within the first scene you see that the UN wants to try to deliver food, water and other necessities to the people who are not getting the proper portions of food they need to survive. at the distribution camp you see that people act like animals trying to fight for more food, some are even shooting others to get what they need. this first scene shows how humanity works within our world then and even now. President Clinton did remove the troops from Somalia after a few weeks. But with the mission failing miserably, the American people became furious with President Clinton’s decision on allowing the mission to take place. Rosenberg writes, “ President Clinton himself was appalled, and for the rest of his presidency was literally afraid to use ground troops in an engagement, preferring to instead use surgical air strikes to eliminate specific targets” (Online). Clinton did not want to make the same mistake twice and hurt the many lives of American people. Clinton Feels that he has failed the american people and that he needs to try to keep America safe. With Clinton only providing air strikes, it became harder for american troops to gain control and win a
