Some of the Worst Black Friday Stories As you know many people just celebrated the holiday Thanksgiving. A great time for giving, feeling grateful, and sending innocent people to the hospital. The day following Thanksgiving is Black Friday the day of savings. Many people go out on Black Friday just to buy some stuff on sale and prepare for Christmas, but some people go too far by putting others life in danger. Black friday started in the 1960’s known as the early bird special. The name Black Friday came from the switch of using red to black inc. Red inc represented a loss and black inc represented a gain in money. Hence the name Black Friday. They both involve Wal-marts and crazy people with pepper spray; two incidents of this behavior were reported last year. The first one took place in Los Angeles when a woman was waiting in line with the other shoppers. When the line started to get restless she pulled out her pepper spray and affected more than twenty shoppers. The woman managed to buy all of her items and exit the store without anyone knowing. In Valley Stream, New York when a seasonal Wal-mart worker was trampled until his death in 2008. Reporting at the scene, the New York Times said people have been coming since late that night and very in the morning. When the clock struck three thirty in the morning it was time to call in some professional help with the police. As time passed the crowd got more rowdy and intense. Then a witness told the police that the crowd shattered shattered the doors and started trying to run through them.
