Steward-Wetterauer elected to sign a lease for her current apartment home agreeing to pay the monthly rent of $879.00 after viewing the apartment with her mother, discussing it with her husband, and with speaking to the community manager. At any point before her move in on May 13, 2016, she had the option of delaying her move, asking for a different apartment if one was available, or deciding not to lease at Forest Lake at all. Given that the choice was entirely Ms. Steward-Wetterauer’s and only minor work request were made that never resulted in her apartment being uninhabitable, we do not feel that there is any reason for an additional price adjustment or any other compensation to be paid.
