After performing the Bixler Learning Style Inventory, it was determined that I am an auditory learner. This finding is not shockingly surprising. I enjoy a good conversation, with an attentive ear, of course. I love listening to music and listening to others talk. I possess an outgoing personality to start and maintain a decent conversation. My weakness is my trouble with things being written down for me to follow instructions or directions. Like all auditory learners, I must be able to actually hear the assignment or instructions to fully comprehend the information. According to Kanar, I learn by hearing and listening (1995).
