It is deemed as a ‘disease’ as if a woman’s sense of self is something that should be eradicated. The lyrics ultimately dehumanize women so that they fit man’s preference, and are just regarding women as an ‘accessory’; a man’s sexual property. Male supremacy is a giant on-going theme in this song, in the lyric “It makes a girl like that think she better than me (bitch)” quite literally defines male supremacy and is speaking in medieval-like ways. Just because popular rap “gods” yell horrific things in to a microphone and slap some electronic music over it, doesn’t make the abominable things said ok.
