Tamer is an excellent candidate for advanced dental training in the United States. There is no doubt in my mind that Tamer has the personality, technical abilities, cross-cultural skills, and drive to successfully complete and excel as a special needs dentist. My opinion is based on my experience working with over 35 post-graduates and junior faculty on clinical research projects over the past 10 year. This is his first foray into academic publishing. Tamer has risen to the challenge. He has taken the project head-on, and demonstrated an impressive amount of high quality independent judgment. He rapidly applied the necessary organized, systematic, and analytically appropriate approach to conducting this work. In our check-in meetings, he concisely articulates and synthesizes his progress and makes thoughtful recommendations on issues to be addressed. He is always forthright about what he does not know, and always has excellent questions. Tamer did a commendable job presenting this work at the AADR/IADR poster session in March 2017 in San
