Bishop Mickens has been pasturing since 1998 with an extensive teaching and training process that has continued to empower individuals to live the abundant life of the Kingdom of God. In 1975, Bishop Mickens passion for teaching led him to seek out a career in Education at Purdue University, until he was drafted into the United States Army. The draft only delayed what was the inevitable, as it only motivated him to continue his education at Bishop College, in Dallas Texas where he received his Bachelors Degree in Religion & Philosophy.
