Our Founding Fathers created this country for the people. Immigrants and residents have the same right as citizens regarding health care, education, and the ability to work. The amendments to the Constitution states the rights every person must have, regarding if they are illegal or not. Everyone came to this country for a better opportunity not only for them but for their children as well. Birth Tourism is a serious issue that must not be taken lightly, millions of parents jump across the United States boards to have their children on “The Land of The Free.” Only to find out that the parents would have to pay thousands of dollars in order to stay in this country

Some people believe birth tourism is taking over our country, but I believe it’s trying to help us. “One of the key problems with birth tourism is that those birth tourists are effectively taking control over U.S. immigration and citizenship policy by turning a grant of temporary admission into a permanent stay.” Many people in this country believe that “Anchor Babies” are immigrants too because they are children of immigrants. In addition to the negative effects of birth tourism, a large group of people believe it’s impacting our government system and our resource’s. This large group of American’s believe that they children born from immigrants shouldn’t have the choices as any other American. Personally, I disagree with this statement. Yes, I agree that some immigrants tend to do hateful things like rape, and stealing but not all are like that. Immigrants came to this country to America for a better opportunity not only for them but for their children as well. Think about it this country was built by Immigrants, not only does it affect our economic system but also our resource’s. All jobs in the world, are intentionally made for everyone. But according to Mr. Trump, immigrants are taking the American’s jobs. Technically Immigrants aren’t taking anyone jobs, they are just working to make enough money so they can feed their families at the end of the …show more content…
This amendment states that all children born in America “are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.” Which also means anchor babies. Currently in the year 2016 more and more kids from immigrants come into this country. We as a nation have to make sure we enforce the laws, to make sure children from around the world come to this nation for a better state of peace. Becoming a citizen, in my opinion, is a long difficult process, and it should not be changed. I believe that the Constitution overall states the correct requirement’s needed stay in this country and be a part of the future. In regards to the 14th amendment Trump wants to get completely rid of the anchor babies, not only do I disagree with his state of mind but I also have a question for him. How does he intend to get millions of children out of this country, once they are already citizens? Not only is this an idiotic statement but it is also very unpredictable. It would take years for Trump to extract all immigrants from this country, there are thousands of us. Yes, I too am a child who was born from immigrants. My parents came to this country in search of a better dream. A dream to see me cross the graduation stage and become someone successful in life and that’s what I’m aiming

In an interview, Donald John Trump, an American businessperson and a Republican candidate running for president, specified: “ The immigrants are bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, and they’re rapists. It’s coming from Mexico. It’s coming from the south and Latin America and it’s coming, probably, from the Middle East, but we don’t know because we have no protection.” As a result of the immigrants coming into America, Trump wants to create the immigration plan. If Trump’s plan is carried out, the Mexicans would be unauthorized to enter America because of the “great great wall,” possible recessions and riots would take place, and all illegal immigrants including the birthright citizens will be forced to leave America.…

Do illegal residents and immigrants have constitutional rights? Why the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution protect the immigrant victims? The Constitution of the United States was written to restrain the government from interfering with the natural rights of an individual such as the right to think, worship, choosing a mate and so on. According to Andrew Napolitano, the Supreme court identified the right to travel as a natural right in 1969, and shortly after the First immigration statute was enacted in the 1880s- it ruled that aliens, whether legal or illegal, are persons, and the constitution protects all persons from governmental deprivation. The illegal immigrants are not fully protected by the constitution, but the Fourteenth Amendment has been interpreted as assuring them at least a significant measure of constitutional equality and fair treatment (Reason Free Mind and Free Market).…

The five myths being that immigrants are overrunning the country, immigrants take jobs from natural born citizens, immigrants drain societies resources, aliens and immigrants don’t assimilate to our culture, and immigrants are not entitled to constitutional rights. All of these myths are displayed to be completely wrong and were created out of ignorance fueled by fear/lack of education on the many benefits immigrants have on United States society, economy, culture, and unity of our nation. Immigrants do not and are not overrunning the country in fact first-generation immigrants make up only had made up in 1990 only made…

The 14th Amendment in the United States constitution allows jurisdiction to citizens born in the United States of America. We have to keep in mind the constitution guarantees and protect our civil liberties, our freedom. Removing natural born citizens to immigrants is not right or constitutional, also will not help America's illegal immigration. The numbers that surprise me the most in the Pew Polling was African-American's numbers show support in favor leaving the 14th amendment as is. This makes an outstanding point in citizenship.…

because what’s the difference between a child who was born in the U.S and whom parents are legal, versus a child who is born in the United States but whose parents are immigrants. There is absolutely no difference because the own amendment states that once you are born in the U.S, you are automatically a citizen and no one could take that away. In my point of view, I don’t see any difference because they are both citizens and it doesn’t matter if your parents are legal immigrants or illegal immigrants, because the child is already a citizen. Therefore, any child born in the United States is automatically a legal citizen and deserves every right just like any other citizen. I don’t think they should deny citizenship from those who have illegal immigrant parents, because most of the United States is filled out with people from other…

No it does not, he is jut saying stuff that he has no idea about, and people actually agree with him because we are still mostly a racist country that is selfish. People that agree with him are mostly stubborn, arrogant, and ignorant people. I also believe that he has a wrong ideology with both immigration and the views over Muslims and Mexicans. Jack Kemp a person in the article, “American Should Great Birthright Citizenship to Children of Illegal Immigrants,” argues that “restrictions on citizenship are not the right way for the United Stated to respond to the problem of illegal immigration. Ending birthright citizenship would violate the United States Constitution and would do little to deter illegal immigration” (par. 1). The children that are born in the United States have the right to stay. The fourteen amendment gives them protection from losing their United State citizenships; however, since their parents are illegal immigrants the congress want to take away their citizenship. Is it good taking them away from their family who was not born here?…

Birthright citizenship no doubt plays a big role in the United States. It means that any child born in this country, be it by citizens or illegal immigrants, gains automatic citizenship. Because immigration has always been significant to the United States, the “melting pot,” birthright citizenship has been and is an important topic of discussion. In their articles for Upfront Magazine, Senator David Vitter and American Immigration Council member Michele Waslin present their arguments for and against, respectively, birthright citizenship. Vitter is a Republican against the idea of birthright citizenship.…

Did you know there are about 320 million people in the United States according to the U.S. Census Bureau, but 11 million people in the U.S. are illegal immigrants? Many people accuse illegal immigrants of harming America’s economy, which may not be the exact issue. Many families cross the Mexico-United States border into the United States searching for a better life and the number of the undocumented alien population continues to grow. Although illegal immigrants may hinder American citizens, illegal immigrants do not harm America’s economy, therefore the illegal immigrant children should continue to be given birthright citizenship and be able to be educated despite the costs. To begin with, the children of illegal immigrants should continue…

This is one of many reasons natives are averse and petulant mostly considering undocumented immigrants are taking away opportunities for them to work and potentially of not being employed. In the interest of companies would clearly hire undocumented immigrants given jobs with lower wages, thus, having a low-cost labor would benefit consumers by keeping prices on goods low. Rather than by hiring U.S. workers to be given higher wages resulting in giving jobs to undocumented immigrants on low wages to allow the economy to expand and low cost force labor and services.…
