Bird wakes up when the sun is barely shining through cracks of his blue cloth shades. He wakes up with a big stretch to his water glass where he had set it the night before on his dresser. Bird takes a big gulp out of the room temperature glass and sets it down as he get up to head to the bathroom. He opens up his door and hears the T.V. on downstairs he then moves sluggishly to the other end of the hall and shuts the door behind him. He takes a long shower before his mom come up and knocks on the door yelling at him to get out you’re going to be late. Bird gets out and walks down the hall with a little more pep in his step. He just picks out clothes not even caring they don’t match. Grabs socks from his top drawer and puts his shoes and grabs his backpack.

He didn’t really think anything of it, so he kept looking at his phone. The he heard through his music someone call his name “Bird?!”. Bird looks up from his phone and it’s Mia standing there at the end of the book shelf. Bird just looks back down at his phone. Mia walks closer to him and said “ Hey Bird why don’t you want to talk to me” than Bird replies with “Because I sat with you at lunch and all of your friends made fun of me and you just sat there and let them”. Mia had a disappointed look on her face. She knew that she should have said something instead of just sitting there. Mia replied “well i'm sorry it's just you aren’t popular and I didn’t know what to say i'm sorry”. Bird looked at her with the utmost disgusted look on his face and replied to her and said “Just because i'm not popular doesn't mean i don’t have feelings why don’t you and all your friends rethink who you are”. Mia just gave Bird a blank stare and said nothing. Bird then said “why don’t you just go away and leave me alone”. Mia just looked at him and turned around and walked
