During my time within the Laboratory, I successfully reverse engineered three different Henkel products and completed a competitive analysis of an equivalent product. Throughout the research process, I used many different analytical techniques including High Performance Liquid Chromatography and Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry to quantitatively and qualitatively define the components in the products, documenting the processes and results as the research was actively conducted.

I am currently interested in developing my knowledge and research abilities in the fields of Virology, Gene Therapy, Biochemistry, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Microbiology, and Immunology. My primary area of interest lies within the study of microorganisms and their ability to cause devastating illness in Eukaryotic organisms. My educational base as a junior at Dartmouth College has taught me to understand specific events or issues through a multifaceted lens. I believe this comprehensive viewpoint is important because to analyze isolated incidents, one needs to consider the environment and background that created such incidents. My studies in cultural anthropology and international politics have familiarized me with the complex nature of cross-cultural cooperation and political relations, both of which must be considered when working within a country on behalf of the US government. For the European and Eurasian Affairs Bureau, I would consider past and current events’ effects on emergent social and political issues and refer to my living experience in Russia in…
