The Effectiveness OF Bioswales

Do you know what a bioswale is? Well I’m sure most of you don't. Bioswales are actually unsung heroes. They do many things that make a difference in our society. They make sure excess runoff water does not affect our houses and can even be better than concrete drainage systems. There are many different things about a bioswale that defines it, such as what is made of, the great environmental benefits. I have decided to do an experiment on Bioswales to try to introduce people to bioswales and discover what kind of bioswale works best.
What A Bioswale Is:
Many of you may not know what a bioswale is when asked. A bioswale is actually a type of drainage system. Bioswales are an earth made ‘gutter’ They are long vegetated ditches that collect excess storm water. They are filled with plants, dirt, and other permeable earth along the sides of different constructed areas.
