Hugh Herr’s Ted Talk was a beautiful mixture of presentation and demonstration. As an amputee himself Hugh was able to demonstrate how impactful these devices can be on ones life. James Edward Hanger was hit in the leg by a cannonball just two days after enlisting and had to have that leg amputated.
