By developing the skills required to research, implement and evaluate policies in sustainable health interventions, I hope to make positive contributions in reforming our current healthcare system through policy changes. My future career aim is to become a Public Health Officer with the Public Health Agency of Canada to improve healthcare delivery. Western University appealed to me due to its prestige and unique one year MPH program within Canada. Furthermore, it is the only MPH program certified by the CEPH (Council on Education for Public Health) in Ontario. Both the structure of the courses through case-based learning and out of classroom opportunities are reasons why I choose Western University. Western University’s reputation as a top-ranking institution, along with its supportive community, gives me the confidence that I will be able to excel and reach my full potential in becoming a future leader in public
