My name is Hussein Shariff and I am currently studying at the University of Westminster. I have been keen on specialising in the science industry due my desire for researching, as well as exploring more about the specific field of will forever continue to amaze me. My favourite subject in primary and secondary school was science, particularly biology. As a result, I was trying to enhance the skills and abilities needed to work in the appropriate condition in science classes thus I discovered how fascinating science was and what I wanted to do in the future had to be science based. For that reason, I was able to get A* in the science course works, as well as achieving two B's in GCSE; whereas in college I was able to get 43 credits at distinction and the remaining 2 were merits (Access to Sciences Level 3).
My purposes behind being focused on biomedical sciences is straightforward, as I wish to facilitate my understanding on science and hopefully use this understanding to study medicine as a post graduate degree. I have also joined to be a member of the Islamic society and the biomedical science society. …show more content…
This helped me because I was able to organize all the revision notes, write them in order as well as to use my family to test me with my notes. This benefited me as a result of an accurate revision style, along with support from my family. Additionally, I also gathered peers from the same lecture and started to give them a ‘small’ lecture on skin; this as a result had helped them through their revision, as well as benefiting myself, thus having the skill of confidence and reinforcing the information into my head. The method in which I revised from, as well as the resources I was able to gather is what had given me the highest percentage in my tutorial class. This suggests that the method I used was
