In the future I seek to major in an engineering field,most likely biomedical engineering. As a Hispanic woman, I am even more determined to overcome any obstacles thrown at me. In my first year of school I had to learn a completely foreign language by myself, without the aid of my spanish-speaking parents. From a young age I have been self motivated to push myself and get out of my comfort zone. If I attend and graduate college, It would make me the first in my family to get a college degree. I would not only be making my parents proud but myself as well.
