Math, science, and medicine have always piqued my interest. This led to my decision of wanting to be a biomedical engineer because it combines all of the things that fascinate me. My chosen career is a career that I can see myself doing happily. My plan is to get a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering then to continue my education to obtain a master’s degree. It is not bewildering that I would want to be a part of one of the best biomedical engineering programs in the nation. Finding an exceptional biomedical engineer program drew me towards my desired college. As a result, John Hopkins University, with their phenomenal undergraduate and graduate program is an excellent option. John Hopkins fits a majority of my criteria in my college decision. My choices of college and career were all well thought out and took a lot of consideration.

I don’t necessarily dote the idea of communicating often and having to communicate with multiple individuals, but it is part of the job. My communication skills are a trait that I need to work on and I will certainly make an effort to improve. Another aspect that I do not like is how competitive the field is. It is something that I can get over, but I still am not loving the idea. After all, I chose this career for a reason. I really enjoy that it combines my interest in science, math, and medicine. In this career, I would be able to work with my strengths and that sounds wonderful. Likewise, I like that I get to help people without having to get up close and personal with them. Regardless of my dislikes, I am delighted with what I have
