Ultimately saving them money especially if they could cure or making sure you never have the chance of even getting something like cancer. Another benefit of Biomedical Engineering is heart monitors and just about any equipment that is attached to a patient 's bed was once created by a Biomedical engineer. A pacemaker is also something that has proven to be beneficial to people struggling with heart conditions. Another example of a benefit is the installation of defibrillators that give periodic reports to doctors about a patient 's condition but also consists of delivering a therapeutic dose of electrical current to the heart …show more content…
After writing this paper it has opened my eyes to the possible benefits of allowing further testing and research into humanoids and Biomedical engineering. That doesn’t ignore the fact that if something went terribly wrong it could wipe out all of humanity. For me i 'd rather be dead before robots are in full swing, Biomedical engineering seems to be the lesser of two evils but when you look much closer altering a human being before they are born without a say could really take a turn for the worst. To help me picture the genetic engineering i think of giants and different variations of things that once were humans, one of the things people most likely don 't wanna worry about is a giant breaking through the side of their house at
