Egyptian Junior Business Association’s strategic plan 2009 - 2015 clearly identifies “Improving the competitiveness of Small and Medium Enterprises” as one of its key strategic directions.
SMEs are a major reservoir for growth of the private sector in Egypt. Over the past years this sector has received special attention and support from various stakeholders. While some of the problems facing this sector have already been addressed and solved, other obstacles remain hindering the development and growth of the SMEs in Egypt.
