Biology Personal Statement

The human body potential is limitless. We have the ability to further the previous breakthroughs in medical science with a minute number of undifferentiated cells. Stem cells are remarkable in their impending capability of giving rise to an indefinite amount of cells in some cases. I look forward to a future where renowned research will one day enable conditions, which are now seen as incurable to become treatable. I have always wanted to pursue a career in the medical field; this aspiration has been established over my years of studying science, sitting witness to deadly diseases and the realisation that I could better the lives of many whilst working in this field. The transition from GCSE to A-level not only ignited my passion but made me appreciate the complexity yet fascinating spectrum that biology has to offer. I have developed my time management skills when completing essays, and have enhanced my evaluation and critique skills. Through studying maths over the years, I have had a chance to develop my problem-solving skills especially my ability to focus on individual errors in order to solve a problem.
Reading; from biology reviews to psychological experiments, I have a great yearning to know how things work to the finest detail. I have a great sense of curiosity when it comes to a topic I enjoy.
