Biology And Genetics Do Not Change Over Time Essay

There is a saying that states that, “Biology and genetics are a scientific way of showing that people don’t actually change over time, instead time simply unfolds them.” This statement may be true to some extent but I do not agree with this statement. I think that over the time of our life span, we as humans, get influenced by our peers, parents, family and friends. Biology and genetics are just ways of showing how humans develop over time, but they do not show when someone will change their hair color, or show when they will get injured. It all depends on someone’s definition of people changing, I think that people changing means them growing up and finding their true self. Finding your true self does not mean going by genetics or biology, it means finding what you like to do and how you want to see yourself.
Biology and genetics are just the scientific aspect of people changing. For example, when people are young, after time, they become old. Through, this time of growing up, biology and genetics will not show the ways people make bad decisions. Biology and genetics do not show the aftermath of the bad decisions, nor do they show how people learn from those decisions. When people learn from their mistakes, this is a sign of people changing. Their physical aspects are mostly based of off gentics at birth, people change their physical aspects all the time. This disproves the fact that gentics unflods the person you will be. There are so many surgeries that can change your physical aspect for you. Genetics and biology do not tell you when a human will go through these changes.
