Fatherhood changes a man’s life as well as their emotional feeling towards their offspring, making is similar to the mother’s “baby sense” towards her child. Unlike other mammals in the animal kingdom, humans are part of the 6% of mammals in which play an important role in raising their young. In these certain species, paternal care involves some of the same behavior as maternal care towards the offspring but with exceptions such as nursing. In a scientific study on paternal care, scientists took 89 parents consisting of mothers, fathers, and gay fathers that had no females to take care of their children, and showed them videos with some containing footages of their own children. The scientists examined the brain’s of these 3 groups and noticed that all of the people being tested showed activation of brain networks linked to social understanding and emotional processing. The results found in the fathers in which were the primary caregivers of their young, showed the similar activation seen in most primary caregiver
