It makes sense that biology and social influence add together to shape personality. According to trait theorists traits are determinant of individuals’ personality (Ryckman, 2013). It is factual that certain trait are innate and some are biologically inherited. Those traits remain within the individuals for the rest of their lives. Therefore biological theories are most important to detect whether the individual’s personality derived from genetic inheritance. The combination of both biological and social influence brings more precision in the studies of individual personality.
